If you’re in the mood for a quicker, more casual dining experience, there is also an ever-changing selection of foods from around the world available at the café with its multi-stationed buffet. In addition to expert mixologists concocting delectable specialty cocktails at the bars and lounges, every Celebrity vessel boasts a team of certified Sommeliers and Cellar Masters to match an assortment of wine for every palate.
The on-board schedule features a plethora of activities day and night. Take part in as many (or as few) as you choose; the options are so broad as to offer something for everyone – shopping, fitness and zumba classes, glass-blowing shows, art auctions, games and trivia, dance parties, whiskey-tasting, lawn games, pool volleyball, cooking challenges, mixology and casino tournaments to name but a few. A broad range of live entertainment abounds with special performances by the main pool and in the lounges at various times throughout the day and well into the evening. Each night in the theater you can enjoy a different production of music, song and dance performed by a talented troupe that will take your breath away.
A state-of-the-art gym awaits you on every Celebrity ship. In addition, you will find a professional salon providing hair services, manicures and pedicures. For a more luxuriant awakening, the on-board spa offers many different facials, skin care options, massages, aromatherapy, body wraps, and much more – for men and women alike. Add to this the menu of available acupuncture and chiropractic sessions, and you will disembark the ship feeling refreshed and revitalized like never before.
Tired parents can enjoy some down-time while the children regale in their own designated area under the supervision of a professional childcare team who will delight them with an assortment of daytime and evening activities. Segmented into two- to three-hour blocks, each self-contained unit has a unique theme incorporating activities that could include art projects, stories, song and dance, face-painting, games, scavenger hunts, sports and cuisine. Our own children have enjoyed themed sessions such as pirates, snow-day, jungle animals, space aliens, sea creatures, swimming with mermaids and even lessons about an upcoming destination. On our very first cruise we packed books and toys to amuse them, only to find that these sat untouched in a drawer in our cabin! For teens, each ship has a supervised private club with age-appropriate activities to help these very “particular” passengers bond with new friends, and there are even custom spa services designed for this demographic. A play room chock full of toys is available for parents with babies, and feeding them is a breeze – just make a request in the dining room and they will gladly puree fresh fruits and vegetables for the smallest passenger. They also have activities for the whole family to enjoy together – trivia, dance parties and talent shows, to name a few. If cabin space is a concern, you can upgrade to a family-veranda stateroom that sleeps up to six, comprising a spacious living room and separate bedrooms for parents and kids.
